This serene lakeside home nestled in the forest, is situated off 5A Hwy Merritt-Kamloops corridor.
We are 1 of 30 well-spaced, private cabins on 15 acres, tucked within forested crown land. Cabin 8 sits snugly in upper SW corner.
Ideal for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, ATVs, snowmobile, snowshoeing, x-country skiing & hunting.
Trophy, stocked Trout & Kokanee - 2 docks, 1 boat launch
Spacious loft design, cozy, tastefully decorated with great room, 3 bedrooms +2 full bath, wood-burning fireplace, electric heat, 6 major appliances, extensive DVD/CD library & board games. cards and puzzles.
Included: Firewood/linens/swim towels, complete Kitchen along with basic cooking staples/condiments. Outdoor fire pit. Ample parking. Excellent wifi access.
Peter Hope Lake is centrally located but with a remote, secluded feel.
The 1 x 1.5 mile sport-fishing lake welcomes small fishing boats, canoes, kayaks & paddleboards.
Two docks provide easy swim access and room for a chair/book.
The area boasts a natural bird nesting habitat along with eagle, beaver and lots of birds.
Ice up is Nov-April creating great winter activities: tobogganing, ice skating/hockey, X-Country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling use on Crown Land.
Nearby Nicola Lake offers power-boating/sailing. Golf is an hour away at one of many courses in and near Kamloops.
This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date.
Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, 1 pet permitted per guest party.
Remove all food, garbage, recycling/refundable bottles/cans upon departure.
Noise levels to minimum 10pm - 7am/conversations inside >10pm
Responsible dog owners welcome. Pet leashed within the resort at all times. Please bring a bed to sleep your pet, no pets on beds/furniture

Summary: The cabin surpassed our expectations. It was artfully and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was exceptionally laid out and stocked. A peaceful and tranquil retreat for a family or two or three couples. Robyn was responsive and very interested in making our stay comfortable. The front deck was a great place to relax, watch the wildlife and to dine. We really enjoyed our stay.

Summary: The property was lovely, and one of the best equipped properties we've experienced on our fishing trips. We are a group of 65-78 yr old friends that take an annual fishing trip once a year. This year we based at Peter Hope Lake. While the property has two rooms with a double bed, one room with a double and a single, the other sleeping quarters appeared to be a finished portion of the attack that lacked head room, with two single beds on the floor. This is probably ok for small children, but was not acceptable for two senior adult males. We learned to ask a few more questions. It was a great place, and with a smaller group would stay there again.

Summary: Cabin 8 on Peterhope Lake was spectacular, it was so secluded and peaceful. It took us a few days to get used to the quiet but it sure recharged our batteries! The cabin was very comfortable and everyone had a space for themselves, we spent most of our time on the deck watching nature go by.

Summary: My story started a year ago when at the last minute my family and I canceled our trip due to the concern of forest fires. From that point on I was in constant communication with the owner(Robyn). Not only did she do everything in her power to assist my family and I in rebooking but her prompt and precise information made every step extremely easy and enjoyable. I can't say enough good things about not only the awesome cabin but also the incredible host (Robyn) is. This cabin is a must, to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Great family memories.
